Ananya Chadha started Greenence when she learned at school how detrimental typical plastic toothbrushes are to the environment. She decided to do something about it and started her own bamboo, biodegradable toothbrush company.
Greenence sustainably sources the bamboo for the toothbrush handles and the bristles are made of cotton, nylon, corn, and bamboo fibres. The charcoal bristled toothbrushes offer natural properties. To recycle your toothbrush simply pull the bristles out with pliers and put in the plastics recycling bin and then toss the bamboo handle in your compost.
